§ 66-214. Review of plans.

  • The town administrative development review staff shall be the sole judge as to the suitability of all development plans submitted to the town for review regarding the ability of the proposed plan to accomplish the requirements and objectives listed in this article. Any site plan which includes waterlines and hydrants that is advanced to the town planning board and town commission for approval shall be accompanied with an administrative staff recommendation of approval or denial. The town administrative development review staff shall have the authority to allow for reasonable, minor development plan deviations from the requirements of this article for the purpose of accommodating particular local site conditions. Included in this authority may be the conditional use of temporary, supplemental private fire flow systems. In no case shall such private system be connected to the public town water system. In any case, such administrative deviation must not compromise the total system integrity nor the overall objectives and requirements for the town water system detailed in this article.
