§ 66-150. Protection of public potable water supply; labeling.

  • Water service made available on the properties served by the public potable water supply shall be protected from present and/or future possible contamination as specified by the manual, this article, and by state and town building, plumbing and water regulations and codes. Any water outlet that could be used for potable or domestic purposes and is not supplied by the potable system and does not use a potable source of water must be labeled "Water Unsafe for Drinking" or "Nonpotable Water" in a conspicuous manner.
