User means either the owner or tenant, with the owner being primarily responsible for such charge or rate and limited to a one-family usage.

    (b)

Rate schedules. The rate schedules for water service and related fees shall be established and amended by resolution or miscellaneous ordinance and kept on file in the city clerk's office.

    (c)

Connection fee. The connection fee shall be $2,500.00 per residential unit for single-meter connection and $2,600.00 for dual-meter connection. The commercial/industrial connection fee shall be $3,000.00 for single-meter connection for sizes up to and including a two-inch meter. The fee for connections greater than two inches will be determined by the town manager or his designee. Commercial/industrial dual-meter connection shall be $3,200.00, or as per above for sizes greater than two inches. Further, when necessary, the owner and/or developer of the unit shall pay for all costs in extending the town's main waterline within the town's right-of-way to alongside the property in which the unit is situated. All extensions of the main waterline shall, when feasible, in the town's sole discretion, be looped back into the main waterline to avoid dead ends in the system.
