§ 58-117. Engaging in prohibited businesses.

(a)

No person shall engage in any business, occupation or profession within the town that is prohibited by this article.

(b)

It is unlawful for any person to carry on or engage in any business, profession or occupation described in this article or designated without having first paid the business tax receipt taxes provided in this article and having obtained and lawfully in his possession a valid, unrevoked business tax receipt for the current business tax receipt year or shorter period specified and having otherwise complied with the terms and provisions of this article.
