§ 42-29. Illegal disposal.

  • It shall be unlawful and subject to penalties provided in this article, and shall be deemed a public nuisance, to deposit household solid waste, yard waste, construction and demolition debris materials, or hazardous waste upon any vacant, occupied, or unoccupied premises within the town, or upon any street, alley, parkway or park, or in any canal, waterway, rock pit, pool, or lake within the town, unless by an approved method prescribed elsewhere in this chapter. No persons shall transport solid waste through or over the streets or alleys of the town without having first secured a license from the town. None of the above items shall be burned within the town limits unless a written permit for such burning is first secured from the fire department. None of the above items shall be buried within the town limits.
