§ 42-27. Condition, inspection of solid waste containers.

All solid waste containers shall be maintained in good condition and repair. All such receptacles shall be provided with a cover sufficiently tight to prevent flies or other insects from having access to the contents of the receptacles. Containers in which wet solid waste is placed shall be watertight. All solid waste containers shall be subject to inspection and approval or condemnation by the sanitary department, and no appeal from such condemnation shall be possible except to the town commission.
