§ 18-48. Costs for extraordinary service.

  • (a)

    The town shall recover direct costs for extraordinary services rendered in connection with a production at an hourly rate in an amount as set by resolution. Such costs shall include, but not be limited to, charges for personnel and/or equipment committed in support of the production that are outside the normal scope of government services. Based on the information provided in the permit application, an estimate of these costs will be provided to the applicant prior to issuance of the permit. The town may require prepayment of all or a portion of these estimated costs prior to issuance of the permit.

    (b)

    At the conclusion of the production, actual costs below or in excess of the estimates will be refunded by the town or paid by the applicant, respectively. The town is under no obligation to provide town personnel or equipment and it shall be provided only if the town manager consents.
